Welcome to the new website of the Arkansas Homeless Coalition. This site still being developed, so expect some changes along the way. In fact, please give us feedback about what works and what doesn't, as we tweak the site and add new features.
In the very near future, look for new tools for small group collaboration and other features. We hope this will help with some of our committee work, as a way to stay in touch and share resources.
Each registered user has a profile page. We hope you will fill yours in and provide contact information if you are a provider of any kind of services. You always have control over the privacy settings of your contact information — remember to use business/professional numbers if you are going to keep yours public.
The Arkansas Homeless Coalition is a voluntary association of providers, faith communities, and other concerned citizens, committed to networking and advocacy on behalf of our homeless neighbors. All who are interested are welcome to attend our meetings and participate fully in our work. We meet on the second Wednesday of every month, 10:00 – 11:30 AM. Our meetings are typically at the Willie L. Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center at 3805 West 12th Street in Little Rock.
Implementing one of the ideas from our recent strategic planning meeting, we have created a new discussion list for AHC conversations. You can click here to sign up for the list. (It will be opt-in only — we won't add you without your permission.)
We hope that this new tool will be helpful in our networking and conversations about working with those who are experiencing homelessness.
