No NExT this year, NEET PG 2024 exam likely in July: Report
Not the National Exit Test (NExT), but the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) examination will continue to be the way of admission into post-graduate courses in 2024 also, sources have informed PTI.
The current PG medical entrance examination i.e. the NEET PG exam is likely to be held in the first week of July and the counselling is likely to be held in the first week of August, sources informed PTI on Saturday. Further, they informed that the NExT exam will not be held this year.

NBE to conduct FDST on 20th January, details
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the conduction of the Foreign Dental Screening Test (FDST) for Indian Citizens/OCI possessing primary dental qualifications awarded by dental institutions outside India on 20th January 2024 on a Computer Based Platform in Delhi.
The admit card will be issued on 15th January 2024 and can be downloaded from the NBE website. Candidates will be informed through SMS/Email alerts and website notices regarding the availability of the admit card on the NBEMS website. Admit cards will not be sent to the candidates by Post/ Email.

Now, non-teaching govt hospitals can begin PG courses without having UG college
Non-teaching government hospitals can now start post-graduate courses even if they do not have any undergraduate college, as per the Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations (PGMER), 2023.
However, for this, the concerned non-teaching government hospital will have to fulfill the norms and procedures prescribed in the various relevant regulations.

A remarkable medical feat occurred at AIIMS Delhi as a five-year-old girl from Greater Noida underwent an awake craniotomy for a left perisylvianintraaxial brain tumor, becoming the world's youngest child to undergo this procedure.
