MUHS Releases List of Affiliated Colleges Permitted For Medical, Dental, AYUSH, Nursing Admissions in Academic Year 2023-24, details
Maharashtra: Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has released the list of affiliated colleges permitted for admission for the academic year 2023-24 for Medicine, Dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, and Nursing (MBBS, BDS, Super Speciality, MDS, BAMS, PG Ayurveda, BUMS, PG Unani, BHMS, PG Homeopathy, Basic BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, and MSc Nursing) courses.
MBBS has 54 affiliated colleges permitted for admission, out of which 32 Government / Corporation colleges, 21 Private Un-Aided colleges, and 1 Private Aided college have been granted permission. MBBS colleges have a total of 8270 intake capacity. 29 BDS affiliated colleges have been granted permission for admission, out of which 4 colleges are under Government/ Corporation and 25 colleges are under Private / Unaided. BDS has a 2726 total intake capacity.
A total of 50 affiliated colleges have been granted permission for admission to MD and MS courses. MD and MS colleges have a total of 4028 intake capacity. Whereas Super Speciality courses have 10 affiliated colleges that have been granted permission for admission. 191 total intake capacity was there for Super Speciality courses.
With a total intake capacity of 593, 29 MDS colleges have been granted permission for admission. 110 colleges affiliated with BAMS colleges have been granted permission for admission. Government / Corporation has 6 colleges, Government Aided has 16 colleges, and Private Un-Aided has 88 colleges. A total of 8590 intake capacity has been granted to these 110 colleges.
PG Ayurveda has 23 affiliated colleges granted permission for admission with a total intake capacity of 1263. 7 affiliated colleges are there for BUMS granted permission for admission. A total of 410 intake capacity has been granted to BUMS colleges.
4 affiliated colleges have been granted permission for admission to PG Unani courses with an intake capacity of 17. BHMS has 57 affiliated colleges granted permission for admission. These 57 colleges have a total intake capacity of 4323 seats.
PG Homeopathy has 16 affiliated colleges that have been granted permission for admission. 387 total intake capacity has been granted to these colleges. 185 Basic BSc Nursing affiliated colleges have been granted permission for admission. Government / Corporation has 7 colleges, and Private Un-Aided has 178 colleges. A total of 9440 intake capacity has been granted to these 185 colleges.
A total intake capacity of 2160 has been granted to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing colleges. There are a total of 55 affiliated colleges granted to these colleges. 2 colleges are there under Government / Corporation, and 53 colleges are there under Private Un-Aided. 39 MSc Nursing affiliated colleges have been granted permission for admission with an intake capacity of 735 seats.
