KEA Extends deadline to apply for MSc Nursing course, details

Karnataka: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the date to apply online for MSc Nursing courses. With MSc Nursing, the application deadline has also been extended for/ M.P.T./ M.Sc. Allied Health Science / M. Pharma and Pharm-D admissions 2023.
In its recently released notice, the KEA stated, "For admission to M.Sc. Nursing / M.P.T./ M.Sc. Allied Health Science / M. Pharma and Pharm-D -2023 courses, final chance is given by extending the last date to register online. The eligible candidates, who have not registered till now, can register, apply and pay the fee through online on or before 27-10-2023 - 05.30 pm."
Eligibility criteria –
1. Candidate should be a citizen of India
2. Candidate should have passed BSc Nursing (Basic) or BSc Hons. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing degree or Post Certificate BSc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS), or any other University located in Karnataka state, accepted as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Indian Nursing Council should have recognized the institution. SC/ST candidates should have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
3. Passed BSc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic BSc in Nursing degree or Post Certificate B.Sc. Nursing of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS), or any other University accepted as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.
4. Minimum of one year of experience after obtaining a BSc Nursing (Basic) in a Hospital Nursing educational Institution or Community Health setting (completed or completed on or before the date of counselling. For candidates with Post certificate BSc Nursing / Post Basic BSc in Nursing Degree, no such experience is needed after graduation.
5. Candidate should have registered in State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Midwife.
6. The candidate should not have attained the age of 45 on the last date fixed for application submission to the PG Degree Entrance Test.
