Baramulla doctor makes Lunar history, acquires land on Moon
Baramulla: In an extraordinary feat, Dr Kousar Bakshi, a distinguished doctor hailing from Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir, has etched his name in history by becoming the first individual from the Valley and the second overall in the region to acquire a parcel of land on the lunar surface. The noteworthy achievement was officially confirmed by the Lunar Registry, signalling the successful bid of Dr Bakshi.
Dr Kousar secured his PhD in microbiology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. He has been a national award winner and nominated for the prime-time Global Excellence Award. He has been working as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ARML Labs in Handwara for 9 years now.
